The chill still lingers across these high Castilian plains when the hoarse thunder of bugles and drums breaks the evening stillness on Lazarus Saturday, announcing through the streets and squares of the old city the arrival of Holy Week.

Yesterday the institutional presentation of Holy Week in Burgos 2026 took place in the Condestable Chapel of the Burgos Cathedral, one of the most emblematic spaces of the cathedral.
