History
Cofradía de Cristo Resucitado
The Brotherhood of the Risen Christ, the most recent addition to Holy Week in Burgos, was founded on October 26, 2003.
It processed for the first time in 2004, although without its own image of the Risen Christ, which was still unfinished. On that occasion, it carried an image on loan from the Retablo Museum of Burgos.
In 2005, the Brotherhood’s own carving of the Risen Christ, created by the sculptor Manuel López from Jaén, processed through the streets of Burgos for the first time.
