The City Hall of Burgos hosted this morning the press conference presenting the 2026 Holy Week in Burgos.
The event featured speeches by the Mayor of Burgos, the Abbot of Holy Week, the President of the Junta de Semana Santa, and its spokesperson, who outlined the main elements of this year’s programme and the key aspects of the upcoming celebration.
During the press conference, several topics related to the organisation of Holy Week were addressed, including improvements to certain procession routes and measures aimed at enhancing accessibility and facilitating the public’s experience when attending the processions.
The presentation also highlighted the work carried out by the city’s brotherhoods and confraternities, as well as the collaboration of the institutions and all those who make it possible for Holy Week in Burgos to once again fill the city’s streets with faith, tradition and cultural heritage.
