Processional Floats

Most Holy Christ of Burgos and Our Lady of Golgotha, Comfort of the Pilgrims (Juan Manuel Montaño Fernández, 2025), carried by members of the Brotherhood of the Seven Words and of the Most Holy Christ of Burgos.

Opening act:

Procession of the floats and members of the brotherhoods from Plaza del Rey San Fernando, along Nuño Rasura Street and Santa Águeda Street, to Santa María Square.

Central act:

Raising of the Cross with the Most Holy Christ of Burgos. Proclamation of the Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross and the Descent from the Cross. Tolling of the monumental rattle in the north tower of the Cathedral. Presentation of Christ to His Mother, accompanied by the playing of the prayer call.

Closing act:

The ceremony will conclude with the veneration of the feet of the Most Holy Christ of Burgos by all participants and/or attendees who wish to do so.
